I suppose so, there is a Mystery Gift feature that gives you a great amount of items to bring into your D/P game. The list of items expand as you complete many collusiums, you can even get a Pikachu with the HM Surf. If that move is used by Pikachu in Battle Revolution, it climbs on a surf board! Cool, huh?! =o
But that's what I know, I didn't beat the game yet, stuck on the roulette one. <_<

I had the magmortar but i still have the surfing pikachu, next is electivire...if i rent the game again
